‘Please fix the stripe’ – Fans are divided over the Green Bay Packers’ bold, untraditional uniforms

The Green Bay Packers have busted out their (mostly) all-white "Winter Warning" uniforms for Thursday Night Football against the Washington Commanders.

This marks just the third time the Packers have rocked the ‘Winter Warning’ uniforms, which they debuted last season and wore twice.
Green Bay first wore the uniform at Lambeau Field in Week 7 against the Texans, then again at Lumen Field versus the Seahawks on December 15, 2024. They went 2-0.
After tonight's victory, make it 3-0.
The Packers promoted Thursday night's game as a whiteout, asking fans to wear white and to whiteout Lambeau. From the looks of it, they complied.

However, fans have mixed feelings when it comes to the Packers' rather new threads. While most of the reaction has been positive, there are a few tweaks some have suggested.
"Why couldn’t you guys just add the yellow stripe in the middle of the helmet," one fan on X begged.
"Gotta add the yellow stripe or stop wearing these all together. Just not good," said another fan.
"Please please please fix the stripe on the helmet! It would be perfect if it was green yellow green," one more fan suggested.

Most of the criticism has focused on the green stripe, which fans believe should be swapped for yellow.
For now, fans will have to live with the green stripe. But as long as Jordan Love and company keep winning, few will care what color it is.
Whatever the stripe: red, blue, purple... just win.
The Commanders and Packers played one another on Thursday night for the first time ever. Leading up to the game, they had played 40 times total, including three postseason games, but none on Thursday night. Unit now.
Overall, the Packers now hold a 23-17-1 advantage over the Commanders. Washington was seeking its first win at Lambeau sine 1986, but will have to continue the wait.
