Micah Parsons takes shot at Cowboys and Jerry Jones in jaw-dropping debut as Packers fans dream of Super Bowl

Micah Parsons was one of the biggest winners of the new NFL season.
While Jerry Jones' Dallas Cowboys failed to finish off the Philadelphia Eagles, Parsons' new team hammered the Detroit Lions and looked like serious Super Bowl contenders.
Green Bay led 17-3 before halftime on Sunday, and beat the Lions 27-13 in one of Week 1's most dominating performances.
Parsons started 1-0, while the Cowboys began a new year 0-1.
After an impressive debut in gold and green, the ex-Cowboy put his new world into perspective -- and appeared to take a hard shot at his old team.
Parsons sounds off
"It's super relief. These last six months was super draining, super toxic for everyone,” Parsons told reporters while sitting in front of his locker.

“It’s something that I don’t think no player should have to go through. I think players’ fates should be decided earlier. I think the fact that I was traded a week before the season was really outrageous and rough.
"It’s something where I could’ve been with these guys getting better and better and we could’ve had probably (an) even more dominant start, if that was the decision we were going to make.
“I’m just happy that’s behind. These guys embraced me. They believe in my talents.
"They believed in me, and I’m just going to give these guys everything I have, because I know what’s at stake and I know what they gave up for me to be here, and I’m going to do what it takes for us to win.”

Parsons played 29 snaps on Sunday and was used all over the field.
He recorded one tackle, a sack and a quarterback hit.
But it was obvious watching Green Bay's attack that Parsons was even more impactful than his stat sheet.
His debut was bigger than numbers
"Micah won, that's for sure," one fan tweeted.
"Thanks Micah. We are glad you’re a Packer," a second fan posted.
"Looking forward to watching him sack Dak Prescott," a third fan wrote.
The Packers and Cowboys face off in Week 4 at Dallas.
Parsons received a historic $188 million contract upon being traded to Green Bay, and his new team appeared far ahead of his old one in Week 1.
The 26-year-old Parsons is a four-time Pro Bowler with 53.5 career sacks.
