    List of current men’s boxing world champions including Oleksandr Usyk, Canelo Alvarez, and Gervonta Davis

    Boxing is a complicated and convoluted sport with several world champions in each division.

    Most observers recognise that we are now in a four-belt era, with the WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO all given credibility as legitimate world titles.

    There are either 17 or 18 divisions in boxing (depending on whether you recognise the newly erected bridgerweight division).

    That means there can be as many as 70 world champions at any given time.
