Wrexham set to sign Man City star with Champions League experience in another Premier League raid

Wrexham and Manchester City are close to finalising a season-long loan for Issa Kabore, talkSPORT understands.
The 24-year-old, who has never made an appearance for the English heavyweights despite joining in July 2020, is poised to bring European pedigree to north Wales.
Kabore spent last season on loan at Benfica and Werder Bremen, although he featured just 16 times across both stints last term.
The Burkina Faso international has also enjoyed loan spells at Troyes, Marseille and Luton Town following his arrival at City.
Crucially, Kabore brings plenty of big game experience having featured in six Champions League fixtures, two of which came during his time at Benfica and four with Marseille.
Should Kabore's move to Wrexham be completed, he will become the club's tenth signing of the summer.
Phil Parkinson's side have brought in a wealth of experienced names including the likes of Conor Coady and Danny Ward from Leicester City as well as Welsh international Kieffer Moore.
Josh Windass joined on a free transfer from Sheffield Wednesday amid the club's financial woes while Plymouth Argyle striker Ryan Hardie and Bolton midfielder George Thomason linked up in multi-million pound deals.
New Zealand international Liberato Cacace signed on the dotted line as did Lewis O'Brien, who became Wrexham's record signing for £3m.
However, O'Brien lost that tag when Wrexham moved to sign Nathan Broadhead, who was on the club's books as an academy player, from Ipswich Town.
The deal for Broadhead cost the Welsh side £10m, a figure which more than tripled the outlay for O'Brien.
Kabore also wouldn't be the first player to join Wrexham from City this window.
Highly-rated centre-back Callum Doyle, who has over 100 Championship appearances to his name, moved in a £7.5m deal, although City retain a buy-back clause and a 25 per cent sell-on clause.
It doesn't look like Wrexham will be finished following Kabore's mooted arrival, with the club agreeing a £6.5m deal to sign Coventry City skipper Ben Sheaf.
Despite the mass turnover this window, it has been a mixed start to life in the second tier for Parkinson's men.
The Welsh side, owned by Hollywood duo Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac, endured a sickening gut-punch in the season opener as they lost 2-1 to Southampton despite leading until the 90th minute.
A 3-2 defeat to West Bromwich Albion followed, with the result sandwiched by a penalty shootout win over Hull City in the first round of the Carabao Cup.
Wrexham subsequently choked away a two-nil lead to draw 2-2 against Sheffield Wednesday but finally got up and running on Saturday with a 2-0 victory away at Millwall.
The Welsh side also progressed to the third round of the Carabao Cup with a 3-2 win over Preston North End, where they will host Reading.
Wrexham return to action following the international break at home against Queens Park Rangers on September 13.
