Fans all saying same thing as LeBron James footage revealed of his controversial new golf swing

LeBron James is one decision away from a life-changing career announcement.

While the Los Angeles Lakers promote a slimmed-down Luka Doncic as their long-term franchise face, The King of the NBA is preparing for the upcoming 2025-26 season in multiple ways.

Workout videos of James recently surfaced, showing the league's all-time leading scorer lifting heavy weights.

But a unique new off-the-court video has received the most attention.

"It’s really almost over," one fan tweeted.

"Is he starting to get used to that kind of lifestyle?" a second fan posted.

"Thinks he’s playing football," a third fan joked.

Those reactions and more followed a brief clip of James that could hint at his next pro career.

Wearing a short-sleeved shirt and shorts, the four-time NBA champion powerfully rotated his 6ft 9in and 250lb frame backward and forward.

In a 10-second video, The King powerfully connected with a golf ball and stepped backward to admire his big shot.

"Bron got the hit again!" James emphatically said, in a video that was posted by former Cleveland Cavaliers teammate Kevin Love.

Some fans loved it.

Others compared James' golf swing to Charles Barkley's, which was the opposite of a lofty complement.

"That is a HORRIBLE swing," one fan tweeted.

"Am I watching Charles Barkley or LeBron James?" a second fan wrote.

"LeBron is ready for retirement," a third fan said.

That was the overwhelming response to the golf video of James -- once he walks away from the NBA, it's clear what his next sport will be.

The Akron, Ohio native has increasingly been seen on the course this summer, while the Lakers have been more associated with Doncic than James.

The King will turn 41 at the end of this year, and is a 21-time All-Star entering his 23rd pro season.

The end is near for James on the hardwood, and he could flourish on the greens once he leaves the Lakers behind.
