This one-day event is for girls ages 13 - 16 to have the knowledge and skills necessary to be successful problem-solvers in careers and post-secondary learning involving sports, Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.

Attention will be on the following:

•Role Models: A special emphasis is placed on including female and minority role models who serve as teachers and speakers.
•Education: The academy covers a broad range of career paths and subject areas including Sports medicine, athletic trainer,   Kinesiology, and video sports technician.
•Empowerment: The young women combine scientific principles with technical know-how with the understanding of career development in the STEM Sports fields.
