Sponsors and Community Organizations Needed for the Let Girls Play Summer Jamboree
Why Sponsor the IOU Sports Let Girls Play Summer Jamboree? IOU Sports has partnered with Milwaukee Public Schools Recreation Department to give girls and their parents an opportunity participate in a Fitness, Health and Empowerment event to get girls active and learn of summer programs. Research indicates that lack of physical activity is directly related to increased pregnancy, delinquency, obesity, truancy and increased risk taking (use of drugs and alcohol) among school-aged girls
