Who is Sue Black?

  • Sue is the first woman to own a professional sports team in the state of Wisconsin. She is the Owner/CEO of the Milwaukee Wave 
  • Previously, Sue was the Milwaukee County Parks director and is largely credited with county-wide improvements to our parks
  • Sue’s strong leadership skills and business successes will demonstrate that women are capable and deserving of strong education and high-paying jobs

    What is One on One with…?

    • One on One with… was created by IOU Sports to give women who are national and community leaders a venue to speak candidly about their life, inspirations, and accomplishments.
      • One on One with Sue Black takes place on Thursday October 24, 2013
        • Reception/Silent Auction begin:  5:00 – 6:00pm  
        • Program: 6:00-7:30pm One on One with Sue Black, Owner of the Milwaukee Wave
        • Cost:  $30 Adults / $10 for Students 13-21 with student ID
        • Cash Bar |Appetizers | Silent Auction
      • Ms. Black will answer interview questions from host Rhonda Ware and questions from the audience
      • Subjects could include Women in Leadership, Empowering Women through Business and Sports and overcoming adversity through her journey.
