 SERVICE and DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS

Game Recognize Game Girls Basketball Skills Development League

In collaboration with Milwaukee Public Schools and Milwaukee County King Community Center, this 10 week league takes place each summer for Girls 13-17.  It runs June through August in preparation for the upcoming school year. The 10 week basketball skills development and classroom instruction program is the most detailed, extensive all-girls league in the City of Milwaukee.

Let Girls Play All Sports Camp

Girls who play sports feel better about themselves. Why? It builds confidence when you know you can practice, improve, and achieve your goals. Girls 6-12 years old will have a FUN-tastic time learning a variety of sports including roller skating, soccer, basketball, golf, jump rope and horseback riding just to name a few.  The camp runs four Saturdays from July to August includes the GoGirlGo reading curriculum and nutritional meals.

IOU Sports STEM Academy

Girls attending the academy will learn how studying the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) can be integrated with physical activity, and lead to careers related to sports.  Students will learn about various careers, what they do, what type of education is needed, and what they can do to get on a successful career path.
